Abstract
In this paper, reference dipole is loaded with non-identical CSRRs in both the arms to achieve a triple band operation. Pair of loaded dipoles is crossed through a vacant ring and is further employed with cavity backed reflector to achieve unidirectional circularly polarized radiation with high gain ( > 6.5 dBic), front to back lobe ratio ( > 20 dB) and enhanced 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth (ARBW) in the three operating bands. ARBW of 7.4% (centered at 1.86 GHz), 2.75% (centered at 2.36 GHz) and 6.02% (centered at 2.98 GHz) are achieved in fabrication.
