Abstract
Design and optimization of a Magic TEE with stepped cone type matching element at X band is presented in this paper. Pointed edge cone has been replaced by a finite radius cylinder, exhibiting an improvement in isolation. Yield analysis on design parameters has been carried out prior to fabrication. Accordingly, measured results exhibits almost identical results with simulation, carried out in HFSS.
