Abstract :
A compact co-planar waveguide (CPW)-fed planar monopole antenna using the Cantor and Koch is presented. The design achieves a good input impedance match throughout 2-18 GHz. The using of Conter with Knoch structure is shown to extend the antenna´s impedance bandwidth for ultra wideband (UWB) performance. Simulation results demonstrate that the antenna exhibits the desired VSWR level and radiation patterns across the entire UWB frequency range.
