Abstract :
A wide angle three dimensional parabolic equation with impedance boundary condition (IBC) for radio wave propagation prediction in tunnel environment is presented, which is solved by the Alternate Direction Implicit (ADI) method. The proposed method with the Pade polynomial approximation expands the applicable angle of parabolic equation method to 30°, which is suitable for predicting the radio propagation in the tunnel with wide beam width. The simulation results indicate that the proposed method remains the advantages of the narrow angle scheme (less than 15°) accuracy and improves the accuracy of wide angle scheme.
