Abstract :
In this paper, we present a simple dual-band patch antenna that radiates at 920MHz and 2.4GHz effectively. The patch antenna is designed with meander slot and shorting probe to increase the current path and reduce the resonant frequency. In addition, a high efficiency, dual-band rectifier is also proposed here. The rectifier is designed by a four-stage voltage doubler topology with lump inductors added, and the resonant frequency can be tuned independently. At an input power level of 15dBm, the experimental result shows a RF-to-DC conversion efficiency up to 78% at dual-band can be achieved. The corresponding DC output voltage is 7.26V and 6.82V respectively with a 9.1kOhm load.
