Abstract
Fast 3D information acquirement is necessary in automated manufacturing line for real time inspection or location. However conventional methods suffered from complex computation, time consuming or expensive equipments. A new 3D measurement method was proposed by colored structured light projection combined with trigonometry computation. Distinguishable colored structured lights improved 3D measuring speed and accuracy by less image acquirement and more concentrated structured lights. Experimental results show the approach can accelerate 3D measurement speed with relative simple equipments and high accuracy maintained.
