  • Abstract
The ways of determining the maximum value of reference model tracking error and signal adaptation algorithm coefficients are discussed. For the first order system the analytical expression for maximum value of reference model tracking error is given. The expressions for the determination of the minimum value of adaptation coefficient for the first and second-order systems are given. Simulating and optimizing second and higher-order systems, the values of error weighting coefficients and the dependence of the maximum value of the transient error on the rated adaptation coefficient and the dominant system parameter were determined. The results of the simulation show that by means of signal adaptation the influence of parameter variations and disturbances can be quickly and significantly reduced.
