  • Abstract
    In this paper is shown the opportunity of trapezoidal microstrip structures (such as linear taper, /spl Delta/ sutb) modelling using the 2D TLM approach. The procedure is based on domain segmentation and than replacing segments with their equivalent RLC circuits. A new segmentation type using trapezoidal segment shapes has been used. Equivalent circuit parameters are derived, The procedure efficiency is illustrated on a few examples.
