Sensitivity of methods for diagnostics of power transformer windings

The paper deals with comparison of several methods for diagnostics of transformer windings from the viewpoint of their sensitivity. The procedure of comparison is based on the theory of statistical prediction intervals. On a chosen level of confidence, particular methods are compared for detecting two types of failure in the transformer winding.
