Abstract
It was reported by many authors that the properties of P(VDF/TrFE) polymer can be tailored by matching the, conditions of heat treatment to the requirements of various devices. We were interested in designing both the impedance and resonance frequency of P(VDF/TrFE) film for combined and coupled transducers. It is not easy to select a complementary transmitter-receiver pair of identical resonance frequencies, and in general, the frequency of the couple is located on the slope of the resonance characteristics of the both transducers. This is energetically inconvenient and frequency matching of the transmitter-receiver pair is poor or even the pair should be cast away. Results of our studies show that by proper heat treatment of P(VDF/TrFE) film one can easily match the resonance frequencies of coupled transducers and reduce the amplifier system.
