Abstract :
This paper addresses the problem of optimization of the decisions for the renewals/reinforcements on distribution systems, extending the capability of existing computational models into multiobjectives (MO) and uncertainty. The increase of electrical loads and the continuing demand of consumers for a better and uninterrupted supply make it necessary to extend or rebuild parts of or even whole distribution networks. This requires an appropriate design of the electrical (sub)stations, a proper choice of the routes of the electric lines, the choice of equipment and so on. A very important problem is the renewals/reinforcements on distribution networks considering: economic, supply quality, safety, and environmental criteria. Generally, in the MO problems, multiples objectives are usually noncommensurable and cannot be combined into a single objective. Using fuzzy logic, the MO is transformed into one with a single objective, that is solved by maximizing of this function. This work presents a computerized optimization tool used to improve the planning of distribution networks with environment consideration. Considering a dynamic approach of the network planning, by means of the interactive operations, based on a heuristic method, the restrictions, which are hardly expressed numerically, can be considered. A case study illustrates the proposed method.
