Abstract :
Various N-MSK adaptive modulation techniques are described. Two of them, the 2-MSK and 4-MSK adaptive modulation schemes, are analysed in a slow Rayleigh fading channel. Adaptive rate communication systems can track the channel variations. Therefore, the average system throughput is increased at given BER. The proposed modulation techniques are especially suitable for communication systems, where power sources are limited.
