Abstract
Resonance measurements have been applied in a procedure of low-loss coaxial standard components characterization. The paper outlines a method which gives not only the electrical length of the component in question but also provides data permitting us to develop the component´s equivalent circuit. Characterization results of components from 2.92 mm calibration kit have been given. The distinct advantages of the developed approach are its high accuracy and the lack of stringent requirements on the employed network analyzer calibration accuracy.
