Abstract
The application of the power scattering matrix for the FDTD algorithm with impedance boundary conditions is presented. The power scattering matrix is obtained when the waveguide ports of the analysed structure are terminated by any convenient impedances. The conventional scattering matrix is then obtained by the appropriate matrix conversion.
