Abstract :
The paper proposes a model for switching power converters and amplifiers, fitted to the SPICE simulator. The model derives from the spectrum of the pulse-width modulation with a harmonic signal. The lowest carrier is generated by a simple LC oscillator with additional controlled sources. Higher components are neglected. The approach reproduces the baseband signal and excellently approximates the main mixing products. The model yields accurate responses in a reduced simulation time.
