Abstract :
The article studies the purely viscous stationary flow of quasi-Newtonian fluids which share dependent viscosity, obeying the power law and Carreau´s law. We prove the existence of the solution using the method of monotonicity. Finally, we study numerical algorithms which are useful for the practical solution of the discretized equation.
