Abstract
The resonant recognition model is based on a significant correlation between the spectra of a numerical presentation of genetic sequences (proteins DNA and RNA) and the corresponding biological functions. According to this correlation it is possible to design a sequence with the desired spectra. The major problems in the design procedure are: (1) the discrete nature of the sequence, and (2) the discrete nature of the numerical representation of each amino acid or nucleotide. These problems are discussed, and some possible, empirical solutions are presented.
