  • Abstract
    Power factor correction is an important topic for compliance with international standards and assure a high level of energy quality. With that end in mind, some ICs were developed in order to simplify power supply design. Computer aided simulation may improve the final result. This paper presents a short analysis of a boost preregulator and its controller, together with a PSpice simulation.
