Abstract :
With a "double-hybrid" fiber and the CS RZ format, 100-GHz-spaced 40-Gb/s WDM signals are transmitted over 2,400 km with more than 13.9-dB Q values. The bandwidth evaluated is 35 nm that accommodates 40 WDM channels.
