Abstract
In this paper the concept of protection circuits for a smart power device is described. Overcurrent, overtemperature, overvoltage and undervoltage sensing and protection circuits are presented. The proposed circuits designed in CMOS AMS HV 0.8 /spl mu/m technology are verified using SPICE simulation.
