Abstract
This paper presents a new locally matching design for a single flip chip transition. By a suitable layout form along the lateral direction, the design is aimed at compensating the parasitic effect of the transition and achieving a good match over a wide frequency band. Simulation results by FDTD method are presented to validate the design idea.
