Abstract :
An efficient and simple procedure for filtering of signals in an impulse noise environment is proposed. It can be used for realization of all filter forms: lowpass, highpass, stopband, and bandpass. Accuracy of the proposed procedure is of the same order of magnitude as in the case of the weighted median/myriad filters admitting negative weights, recently proposed by Arce et al.
