Abstract :
We numerically show that the switching speed of the four-wave mixing device, which employs the quasiphase matched cascaded second-order nonlinear effect, can be enhanced beyond the quasi-phase matching bandwidth limitation by compensating for group-velocity mismatching between the fundamental and the second harmonic.
