Abstract :
A new system of integral equations (SIE) for the current distribution function in a vertical ground rod in a two-layer earth is developed. The system of integral equations is numerically solved by the point matching method using polynomial approximation of the current distribution function. The supply zone is approximated by the electric field of a point source.
