Abstract :
We propose a complete numerical characterization of an improved dispersion-managed compatible optical regeneration scheme. The impact of intrinsic regenerator parameters over system performance is investigated considering dense WDM 8×40 Gbit/s transmission system with 150 GHz channel spacing.
