Abstract :
A 2.5 Gb/s optical packet receiver has been developed for WDM packet routing systems using a rapidly tunable laser diode and a wavelength router. The optical packet receiver can receive the variable burst-length optical packets and keep the optimum phase between the data and the clock automatically.
