  • Abstract
Results on the research of tunable acousto-optic filters operating in the ultraviolet, visible and infrared regions of spectrum are presented. High spectral and spatial resolution, perfect diffraction efficiency and low driving power provided applications of the filters in optics and spectroscopy as well as in optical information processing, optical communication and laser technology are described. The designed instruments based on the single crystals of paratellurite TeO2 and potassium dihydrophosphate KDP are described and operation parameters of the developed devices are summarized
