Abstract
A charge-recycling predecoder (CRPD), a charge-recycling word line decoder (CRWD), and a charge-sharing bit line (CSBL) reduce power in a memory. The CRPD and the CRWD recycle the charge used in predecoder lines and word lines. The CSBL reduces the bit line swing voltage. A 128 kb ROM in a 0.35 /spl mu/m CMOS process consumes 8.63 mW at 100 MHz and 3.3 V.
