Abstract :
A 16.28/spl times/14.2 mm/sup 2/ 852/spl times/600x3-pixel OLED-on-silicon color microdisplay is implemented in a 0.35 /spl mu/m 3.3 V/4.0 V CMOS process. Using subthreshold-voltage-scaling, the pixel current is modulated between 250 pA and 25 nA. The 10 M-transistor system supports 15 video modes consuming 200 mW for 56.25 MHz full-motion video.
