Abstract
We propose a new infrared connection method for indoor infrared networks. We compare this link topology with the Q-diffuse link. Simulation results show that the proposed method reduces power loss and rms delay spread of the received signal at the expense of introducing some complexity to the system. At the end we discuss that in practice the results are much better than in our simulation and the path selective architecture is more suitable for practical case.
