Abstract
In mobile environments, efficient binding update delivery results in fast adaptation to the effects of migration. The scheme discussed performs the update using IP multicast. The proposed active delivery scheme+ (ADS+) is an extension of the ADS earlier proposed by the authors. Unlike ADS, ADS+ does not assume the use of additional network hardware and yet provides a quick, deployable, bandwidth conserving solution to the delivery of binding updates.
