Abstract :
Reciprocity in large RLGC interconnect structures can be made explicit by means of a judiciously chosen formulation, resulting in a transfer function with explicitly reciprocal character. This has consequences for the balanced realization based reduced order modeling (ROM) algorithm, which can be made to reflect the underlying explicit reciprocity. A comparison with the recently developed Laguerre-SVD ROM algorithm shows their respective merits.
