Abstract
The research problems of the microwave heating process of a material during exposure to an electromagnetic field, as well as the operation and construction of the heating system, are briefly discussed in the paper. The measurement system to determine energy absorption during the microwave heating process requires some specific types of calibration procedures. A rapid practical method of efficiency determination of the microwave energy applicator used for microwave heating based on the calculation and measurement of the temperature of the heated material is presented.
