Abstract :
With the development of cellular mobile communication, CDMA technologies are making giant steps in commercial wireless markets across the world. The smart antenna in the CDMA cellular mobile communication system can be used to reduce the interference and improve the system performance. This paper gives an overview of some general concepts for smart antennas with focuses on the adaptive algorithm according to the characteristics of mobile users and antenna arrays.
