Abstract :
The functions of alkali recovery boiler are to generate steam and to recover soda by burning the black liquid produced in the kraft pulp process. According to its characteristics, this paper focuses on the method combined with auto-optimization techniques with the fuzzy logic to adjust the first and second gas quantity for controlling the temperatures of the furnace and black ash pad, which are measured by an infrared thermoscope. The control system is composed of a computer network.. The result shows that the application of this intelligent method can improve the thermal efficiency and increase the alkali recovery ratio in the furnace.
