Abstract :
Dynamics of current-induced magnetic switching of a single magnetic molecule attached to two ferromagnetic contacts with collinear magnetic moments is investigated theoretically. The main emphasis is put on physical processes which can influence the molecule switching, particularly on the intrinsic spin relaxation in the molecule. It is shown that despite spin relaxation, spin-polarized current can switch the magnetic moment of the molecule-although the switching time may be significantly increased.
