Abstract
The design of a liquid crystal based optical phase array (LC OPA) device that is capable of steering a broadband beam in the MWIR is reviewed. We show data acquired from our current device that can steer a 0.5 cm beam to a maximum steering angle of 0.5 mrad. The response time is approximately one millisecond.
