Abstract :
Ultra robust optical label switch routing for digitally encoded subcarrier multiplexing (SCM) label was demonstrated. Error free performance for SCM label attached to corrupted 10 Gbit/s payload signals with bit-error-ratio of grater than 10-1 was confirmed. We also confirmed sure optical routing operation under such severely degraded optical transport conditions.
