Abstract
We introduced a new simple routing method called reflection routing. This routing method makes use of transport optical fibers in networks as delay lines and enhances quality of service in terms of packet loss ratio. By using numerical simulations, we have shown that the reflection routing can achieve almost the same performance of the deflection routing in practical situation, and the time interval of packet misordering is limited within the critical value of a TCP/IP session for each subscriber.
