Abstract
,An accurate temperature sensor system based on linear-cavity fiber laser array is proposed in this paper. We establish a general theoretical model for this sensor system and analyze its performance. This fiber Bragg grating sensor system can resolve a temperature up to 0.0005°C, theoretically. Such high resolution results from a discriminating fiber grating pair and a high signal-to-noise ratio fiber laser array with self-equalized and self-enhanced lasing power. The proposed fiber laser sensor system could be used for temperature sensing with high precision in bio-medical applications.
