Abstract :
We examine models of knowledge development and learning processes to identify critical points where culture can become an influencing factor. We also propose some methods to assess cultural impacts on organizations and to predict and mitigate issues that can block learning and application of key knowledge. Using a flowchart for the chronology of knowledge development, we discuss and illustrate the potential impact of culture at each stage.
