Abstract
In this paper we discuss the design of a continuous-time biquadratic filter using second-generation current conveyors, which can be used in hearing aids and also in other analog signal processing applications. The proposed filter has the capability of amplifying as well attenuating the signal of any desired frequency band. This design can be easily implemented in MOS VLSI thereby allowing electronic tuning of the filter parameters. The circuit details of the filter element are presented along with simulation result of the overall filter.
