Abstract
We propose a structure of an array transceiver for W-CDMA base station based on cdma2000-1x RTT. The structure has several advantages, such as a practical SINR (signal-to-interference-plus-noise power ratio) measure, efficient channel estimation, and an array transceiver based on LMS/DA (LMS with decision-aid), in the cdma2000-1x system. Under this structure, BER (bit error rate) improvements by both beamforming and an estimation scheme based on channel state information are analyzed for 614.4 ksps in the vehicular environment model provided by ITU-R.
