Abstract :
Supporting high speed data applications has become one of the major goals of present day wireless network development. The principal focus of the latest version of cdma2000 (release C) has been to maximize the throughput for data users without affecting the performance of voice users. The paper looks at the mechanism for supporting new channels to utilize forward link resources most efficiently for high speed data applications with minimal effect on existing voice traffic.
