Abstract
Because OFDM offers a very good way to minimize intersymbol-interference under multipath conditions, it seems to be the primary choice of modulation method for future packet transmission systems. This advantage though is obtained at the expense of the need for sufficient guard interval length. An interference canceller scheme for OFDM is thus presented in this paper, which can shorten the necessary guard interval length and the performance of this scheme confirmed via simulation.
