Abstract :
In this paper, the temperature distribution of a 50 kVA pole-mount mold transformer is investigated by an FEM program. The temperature rise test of the designed mold transformer is also carried out and the test results compared to simulation data. The other tests of transformers, such as routine tests, type tests and special tests are also carried out and the results found to be good.
