Abstract :
Based on the analysis of the characteristics of some stator ground protection schemes, the protection schemes suitable for the generators in Three-Gorges Power Station are presented in this paper. To match the protection requirements of those generators, new protection schemes are suggested. Simulation and experimental results show that the protection schemes suggested in this paper can obtain higher sensitivity and reliability for the generators in Three-Gorges Power Station.
