Abstract :
The simplified mathematical model and corresponding equivalent circuits for simulation of the 3-&3-phase AC-DC integrated synchronous generator (ADISG) are presented. A sudden simultaneous AC and DC short circuit is simulated. The simulation and test results agree quite well, showing the validity of the mathematical model and the method of simulation. The approach proposed is suitable for other ADISGs such as 3-&6-phase, 3-&9-phase, 3-&12-phase ADIGs, etc.
