Abstract :
A novel non-coherent synchronous optical fiber CDMA network using balanced Walsh codes, which are derived from Walsh codes is proposed and the design of all-optical fully programmable transmitter and receiver is reported. The BER performance of the system is analysed. The results show that in this system multiple-access interference is completely eliminated and the BER performance is better than that of system using modified prime codes and channel interference canceller.
