Abstract :
The aim of this paper is to provide a study on the performance of the combined iterative forward error correction (FEC) pre-selection based maximum likelihood multiuser detector (PSMLMUD) receiver (FEC/PSMLMUD) for highly loaded DS-CDMA systems. The paper will also contain a comparison on the basis of BER performance and computational complexity between the combined FEC/MLMUD and FEC/PSMLMUD receivers in AWGN channels.
